Tri-College E-Books
The Tri-College Libraries offer hundreds of thousands of e-books in many diverse ebook collections, including reference, primary texts, scholarly and popular literature, offering a variety of ways to view and use them, depending on provider specifications. In this shifting landscape between print and digital, most ebooks can be read as you would read an online journal but others have added functionality. EBL and Ebrary have been designed to allow full-text searching, copying, note-taking, audio and in some cases downloads to different devices.
Accessibility
For low vision and blind readers, our EBL and Ebrary books can be read aloud in Adobe Digital Editions version 2. (Make sure you have the most up-to-date version of ADE.)
Download your selected title into ADE by following the download instructions above.
Turn VoiceOver on by going in the menu bar to:
• Adobe Digital Editions >
• Services >
• Service Preferences >
• Universal Access >
• Turn VoiceOver on or off
This should work for both Ebrary and EBL
