Peace Studies / Sociology / Political Science 71B: Lee Smithey - Spring 2019

Find research articles and books about your campaign

Search a wider set of books

Try searching Google Books to find books that mention your case.

  • You can use Google Books to search within the full text of millions of books. It's a great way to find something specific, like information about a particular activist group.

  • Search for the book's title in Tripod to read it in full, since Google Books usually only lets you see a limited preview.

Books & Articles Beyond the TriCo Libraries

The Swarthmore Libraries can help you get books, even when we don't own a copy.

Here's how to get a book:

  1. Search Tripod for the book title.
  2. No copies available in Tripod? Login to EZBorrow, search for your book, and request a copy. (takes ~1 week to arrive, usually)
  3. No luck with EZBorrow? Fill out the Interlibrary Loan Request form. (~1-2 weeks to arrive, usually)

What about articles?  You can get PDFs of articles and book chapters, too.

  1. First, check Tripod for the article or book.
  2. If we don't have access, place an Article Delivery Request or a Book Chapter Request. Most requests are filled by email. (2 days or less, usually)
