Databases for Finding Scholarly Journal Articles

How to Find Scholarly Articles

Finding Scholarly Journal Articles
Scholarly databases (e.g. JSTOR, America History and Life) are research tools for finding scholarly journal articles. Scholarly databases will give you a smaller number of search results than a Google search, and it's easy to limit your results to peer-reviewed scholarly articles.

Getting Articles / PDFs

Use the button or link to get the full-text of the article (usually as a PDF). Ask a librarian for help if you run into trouble.

Can't get the article through FindIt?   Use Article Request to receive a PDF by email (usually within 1-3 days).
